Homemade Vanilla Icecream

Ice creams are all-time favourite for everyone..especially kids.... It is so soft & creamy... It is easy to prepare at home....

Ingredients:

Whole milk-(500ml)
Heavy whipping cream/thickened cream- 1cup
Sugar- 1/4cup
Corn flour- 1tsp
Vanilla essence- 2tsp

Method:

  • First boil the milk in a pan...
  • Add heavy whipping cream into it...stir well...
  • Once it started boiling, add sugar & mix well...till it dissolve...
  • Add 1tsp of corn flour & mix well......stir contionously to avoid any lumps...
  • Finally add vanilla essence..mix well....turn off the flame...
  • Now transfer it to aluminium tray &allow it to cool & then freeze it for 2 to 3 hrs...

  • Remove the tray & beat it in a blender until smooth....

  • Transfer this smooth cream into aluminium tray & cover it with polythene sheet...make sure that sheet is touching the icecream surface....(to avoid the formation of layer over)
  • Allow it to set for half an hour...
  • Serve the delicious ice cream & enjoy the taste.....
