Wheat Puran Poli(HEALTHY version)

Usually poli is prepared with the all purpose flour/ MAIDA.... But white flour/Maida are toxic to pancreas which secrets INSULIN... It is enemy to our heart, the color of maida may look fair & fine when compared to WHEAT flour, but the process involved in its preparation shows how dangerous for heart & pancreas...

"Lifestyle changes & mental stress are taking a heavy role on our youngsters & becoming heart patients.... The food we eat matters a lottt..... Thats y i have chosen WHEAT flour to prepare POLI, it is very healthy to all.....

INGREDIENTS FOR POORNAM:

INGREDIENTS FOR DOUGH:

Wheat flour- 1cup
Oil- 6tsp
Salt- pinch

METHOD:

  • Take wheat flour in a bowl, add oil & pinch of salt into it....mix well..
  • Add  little amount of water & start to knead the dough....
  • Dough should be soft & loose in consistency....

STEPS TO MAKE PURAN POLI:

  • Take a small ball from the dough & roll into small circle...

  • Repeat the same process & roll out the remaining dough balls....
  • Just spread the PURAN evenly on the chapathi....take another small chapathi & lay over on it....again roll in to make perfect shape....

  • Heat a pan/ dosa kal, roast the puran poli with 1tsp of ghee..turn over to cook on both sides.
  • Once all the poli has done....drizzle some ghee/butter on it....
  • Yummmy HEALTHY puran poli is ready.....
