Prawn Curry with coconut milk..

Ingredients:

Prawns- 500 gms
Chopped onion- 1
Tomato puree- 3tsp
Garam masala- 1/4tsp
Chili powder-1tsp
Turmeric powder -1 /4tsp 
Ground pepper- 4tsp
Coconut milk- 200ml
Garlic- 3cloves( minced)
Salt- to taste
Lime juice- 1tsp

For seasoning:

Oil- 3tsp
Cumin seeds- 1/2tsp
Fennel seeds-1/4tsp
Cloves-3 

Method:

  • Take a bowl, add tomato puree, salt, garam masala, ground pepper, chili powder,  lime juice, coconut milk & mix well..... now coconut sauce is ready...keep it aside...
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard & cumin seeds & cook until they pop...
  • Add chopped onion & minced garlic,saute for 2mins....add the above coconut sauce & cook until the sauce begins to simmer..... 
  • Add prawns & Cook for about 7mins...not more than that...
  • Creamy prawn curry is ready to serve with indian breads/rice/idly....
