Sandwich is very healthy recipe.It provides nutrition & best lunch box recipe for kids.....
Ingredients:
Bread- 1loaf(white or wholemeal)
Ghee-1/2 cup
oil-2tsp
Chopped onions-1 big
Chopped capsicum-1
Shredded cabbage-1 small cup
Grated carrot-1/2 cup
Spring onions-1 hand full
Grated cheese-1/2 cup
Tomato sauce-2tsp
Chili sauce-2tsp
Soy sauce-1tsp
Green chilly-2 (optional)
Mayonnaise- 1tsp (for each slice)
Lettuce- for garnishing
Salt- to taste....
Method:
- Take a non-stick pan & add 2tsp of oil, add chopped onions & saute for 2mins..
- Consecutively add the cabbage, carrots, capsicum & saute for 3 mins...not more than that..
- Now add green chilies,tomato sauce,chili, soy sauces in above mentioned quantiies...
- Sprinkle some salt to taste & saute for 1min..
- After adding the spring onions & grated cheese...turn off the stove...u can see the sticky texture...
- Spread 1tsp of ghee on both sides of bread & add some amount of above veg filling.
- Meanwhile add 1tsp of mayonnaise & cover with another slice of bread and grill it in sandwich maker....
- It looks so yummmmmyyyy.... Garnish with lettuce & serve it tomato/chili sauce....
