kaju kathili/ cashew burfi

Usually we tasted kaju kathili from the sweet shops....but its very easy to prepare a home with the same taste and texture......


Ingredients:

    cashews -1cup
    sugar- 1/2cup
    water-1/4 cup
    milk-2tsp
    Ghee-3tsp

Method:

  •  Take a cashews in a mixer & grind it to fine powder..

  • Heat the pan & add sugar,water &milk to it...allowed to boil  till get a sugar syrup..
  • Then take a drop of sugar syrup in a bowl of water & u can see the formation of ring without getting disssolved in water..
  • Now add the cashew powder & stir well ..
  • It starts to form like thick dough...turn off the stove...allowed to cool...
  • Take a flat surface plate & rub the plate with 3tsp of ghee.
  • Transferred the dough into plate & allowed to cool..
  • Now take a roller(chapathi roller)& just roll it to thin and big circle...and cut them into diamond shapes...
  • Gently Remove the each diamond shaped pieces.
  • Yummy kaju kathili is ready to eat....
