ALOO PARATHA...

Ingredients for dough:

Wheat flour-2cups
Water-3/4cup
Salt-to taste

Ingredients for stuffing:

Potatoes-4(medium)
Cumin seeds-1/2tsp
Chopped onions-1/2 cup
Ginger-garlic paste-1/2tsp
Chili powder-1tsp
Coriander powder-1/2tsp 
Green chilly-1
Coriander leaves
Salt -to taste

Method:

  •  Take 2cups of flour & add 1tsp of oil& 1/2tsp of salt & mix well...add some amount of water & make a fine dough..
  • Meanwhile boil the potatoes & peel off the skin & smashed it.
  • Heat the pan & add 2tsp of oil, cumin seeds, onions & chilly into it..
  • Add chilli powder,coriander powder & salt & saute for about 2mins..
  • Then add the smashed potatoes & coriander leaves. mix well...Now our filling is ready to prepare delicious parathas...
  • Nextly, take a dough & make into small balls...using a roller, just roll it into small circle.
  • Place one ball of the above filling in the middle of paratha & close all the edges.
  • Now roll the stuffed paratha using a roller pin to make thicker paratha( no need to roll thin layer like chapthi)
  • Heat the pan & add 1tsp of oil & allow paratha to cook on both sides.
  • ALOO PARATHA is ready to serve with onion cucumber raitha.....
