Masala sundal is quite different from usual sundal.... it goes well with tea/coffee.... perfect side dish for variety rice too....
Ingredients:
Brown chickpeas-250gms
Chopped onions-1(big)
Chopped tomatoes-1(big)
Chili powder-1tsp
Coriander powder-1.5tsp
Turmeric powder-1/4tsp
Curry leaves-1spring
Salt- to taste
Method:
- Soak the chick peas over night & boiled it.
- Heat the pan & add oil, chopped onions...saute till golden brown
- Add tomatoes & chili, coriander & turmeric powder into it...toss well until the raw smell goes off..
- Now add the boiled chick peas & mix well...sprinkle some salt..
- Garnished with coriander leaves...
- Serve it with tea/coffee.....
NOTE: Boil the chick peas with some salt...it gives gud taste...
