Ingredients:
Left over idly- 5
Chopped onions- 2(med)
Chopped tomato- 1(big)
Curry leaves- 1spring
chili powder-1/2tsp
Coriander powder - 1tsp
Turmeric powder-1/4tsp
chili powder-1/2tsp
Coriander powder - 1tsp
Turmeric powder-1/4tsp
Tomato ketchup- 1tsp
Chili sauce- 1tsp
Oil- 2tsp
Salt- pinch
Capsicum- 1/2 (optional)
Spring onions- for garnishing
Note: Refridgerate idly for about 4hrs....so that it cannot suck oil...
Method:
- Cut the idlies into cubes & fry it till golden brown color....keep it aside...
- Heat 2tsp of oil, saute chopped onions, curry leaves until golden brown color appears...
- Add tomatoes..chili, coriander, turmeric powder& mix well...
- Then add tomato ketchup & chili sauce to it....sprinkle some salt & add fried idli pieces into it...
- Mix well & turn off the flame....
- Garnish with spring onions...
- Perfect snack for kids.....
