Falooda is yummy & delicious dessert...it can be served after food... Tasty & simple recipe... Very healthy for kids & all....It is cold & containing many ingredients like jelly pieces, rose syrup with vermecelli, sabja seeds, nuts.. topping with vanilla flavored icecream...
It is most popular in South Asian countries like India, Pakistan, Srilanka etc... It is delicious summer drink...Its kid- friendly recipe, try this & surprise ur kids....
INGREDIENTS:
Whole milk- 2cups
Rose essence- 1 tsp
Sabja/ Basil seeds- 2tsp
Vermicelli- 1handfull
Sugar- 3tsp
Elachi powder- pinch
Raisins/ Pista- 10( coarsely powdered)
Jelly mix- 3tsp
Vanilla icecream- 2 scoop
METHOD:
- First heat water in a pan & add jelly mix...bring to boil for about 5-8mins.... Allowed to cool down, and transfer into ice tray/ Mould... Refrigerate for about 2hrs.....
- Next soak the sajba seeds into water for about 30mins.... It becomes double in size...
- Boil the vermicelli in water & keep it aside...
- Meanwhile boil the milk.....once it is completely cooled , add rose essence/ syrup...sabja seeds into it...
- Then add sugar, chopped nuts/ raisins( your choice) & mix well... Refrigerate the mixture for about 1hour....
FOR SERVING:
- First ready with your ingredients, jelly cubes, chilled milk, vermicelli & sabja seeds....vanilla ice cream & tall. glass...
- Take a tall glass, add jelly cubes(here i have used strawberry jelly), then add vermicelli & sabja seeds into it....
- Now pour the chilled milk upto 3/4th of the glass....
- Scoop the vanilla ice cream & finally add to the glass.....decorate with nuts/ color balls.....
- Yummmmmy FALOODA is ready to serve....
