Parupu Puran/ Kadalai parupu Pooranam

Kadalai paruppu pooranam is prepared for making suiyyam, Kolukattai, Modakam, Poli.... This recipe is inner stuffing for above items.... Boil the channa dal, mashed & mixed with jaggery & cardamom & coconut...

INGREDIENTS:

Channa dal- 1 cup
Jaggery- 1/4cup
Coconut- 1/4cup
Cardamom- 3

METHOD:

  • First boil the channa dal....pressure cook for 3 whistles...
  • Drain the water completely....
  • Take a mixer, add channa dal, cardamom powder.....grind into smooth mixture... 
  • Add jaggery & give pulse once/twice....
  • Now poornam/ puran is done....!!!!!
