Whole Wheat Pizza Base is another healthy alternate to white base pizza dough... Actually I always prefer to wheat because it gives some happiness that atleast having some healthier one... Because MAIDA is unhealthy to our body, it will affects our intestine & causes many problems.. So I have tried with wheat base for pizza...
Already I tried Veg Pizza & posted earlier... Check it out!!!!
This time I baked the dough for nearly 15mins & later baked once again with topping.. It gives perfect crunchy at edges & soft at the center..
Preparation time- 20mins( resting time- 2hrs) Cooking time- 25mins
INGREDIENTS:
Wheat flour- 1 & 1/4 cupActive dry yeast- 1tsp
Sugar- 1tsp
Salt- 1/2tsp
Water- 1/4 cup + 3tsp
Olive oil- 3tsp
METHOD:
- First add 1tsp of dry yeast into 1/4 cup of WARM WATER & leave it for 5-8 mins... You can able to see the frothing, that ensure the yeast is active..
- Take a mixing bowl, add the yeast solution, oil & salt, sugar..mix well....
- Then add 1 cup of wheat flour & 1/4 cup of water, mix well & knead it to form a smooth dough....
- Keep the dough in a warm place, rest for atleast 2hours... cover it with white cloth...
- Now the dough is raised & punch it to remove air bubbles present inside... then dust the flour & divided into2 portions...
- You can press with your hands or just roll into thin base(using rolling pin).. Preheat the oven for 150 deg C for 10mins...
- Place it on a pizza tray/ baking tray & bake it for 20-25 mins...
- You can top up with veggies, chicken, paneer... actually I prepared ... so yummmmmmyyy!!!!!!!!
