Babycorn Paneer lollipop

Paneer is my all time favourite....I want to try something new with paneer, so i tried with baby corn as well as potato..... It is very crispy on outside & crunchy inside... It goes well with tea/coffee... Best evening snack for kids... Try this lollipop....


INGREDIENTS FOR DOUGH:

Paneer- 7-9 cubes
Boiled potato- 2
Green chili-2(optional)
Ginger-garlic paste- 1tsp
Corn flour- 1tsp
Chilli powder- 1tsp
Coriander powder- 1tsp
Salt- to taste  

INGREDIENTS FOR BINDING:

Maida- 1tsp
Cornflour- 1tsp
Bread crumbs- 6tsp

BABY CORN- 6-8(For lollipop)

METHOD:

  • First boil the potatoes & grate the paneer....
  • Once its steamed, mash the potatoes & paneer.....
  • Add the chilli & coriander powder, salt, ginger-garlic paste, corn flour & mashed potatos & paneer.....mix well... knead into thick dough....

  • Now make the dough into small balls for lollipop....(it should be smooth dough)
  • Press the paneer ball lightly between your palms to secure firmly on the baby corn....lollipop is ready....do the rest of the balls with same procedure....


  • Prepare the flour for binding...mix maida & corn flour in little amount of water & mix well...
  • Now dip the lollipop in flour & roll into bread crumbs....


  • Heat sufficient oil in a pan & drop the lollipops into it.....deep fry it for 3mins...turn over to cook on both sides....

  • Crispy paneer lollipops are ready..... it goes well with TOMATO SAUCE/ green chutney.....
