Mor kulambu..

It is very common in south India & easy to prepare..

Cooking time-  10mins...

Ingredients:

Thick buttermilk- 3cups
Raw banana- 1/(cubed)
Turmeric powder- 1/4tsp

For grinding:

Grated coconut-1/4cup
Green chili- 5
Cumin seeds- 1tsp
Ginger- 1inch
Roasted gram- 3tsp(pottu kadalai)

For Seasoning:

Oil-2tsp
Mustard seeds- 1tsp
Cumin seeds- 1tsp
Pepper- 7
Curry leaves- 1spring
Red chili- 1 

Method:

  • Cook raw banana with some water, salt & turmeric powder.....once its boiled, turn off the flame..
  • Take buttermilk, add turmeric powder & mix well...
  • Then grind the coconut, roasted gram, ginger, chili, cumin seeds with little water & grind into fine paste....

  • Heat 2tsp of oil in a pan & add the above ingredients mentioned under seasoning..
  • Pour the buttermilk & ground paste into it...sprinkle some salt...

  • Finally add the cooked raw banana & when it starts boiling,add pinch of ASAFOETIDA & turn off the flame... (do not boil)

  • Garnish with corriander leaves...
