Prawn thokku.....

 

         Ingredients:

  1. oil-5tsp
  2. Chopped onions-2(medium)
  3. Chopped tomatoes-1(big)
  4. Ginger garlic paste-2tsp
  5. Chilli powder-2tsp
  6. Turmeric powder-1/4tsp
  7. Salt-to taste
  8. Coriander leaves- for garnishing.....
  9. Prawns -500gms..
  10.   Method: 

    • Heat the pan & add 5tsp of oil....add ginger garlic paste & saute for 3mins..
    • Add finely chopped onions & saute for 5mins til u get golden brown colour..
    • Then add tomatoes into it & stir well...
    • Now add chilli & turmeric powder, saute till the raw smell goes off...
    • Small amount of water is added to it &sprinkle some salt & mix well....
    • Its time to add prawns & cook for about 5 to 8mins... stir well until u get thick gravy.... garnish with coriander leaves..
    • Prawn thokku is ready to serve with hot rice...or with chapathi.....  

      Note: If prawn is over cooked, it gives rubbery texture...turn off the flame within 7mins.
