Ingredients:
Palak leaves- 2bunches
cumin seeds-1tsp
ginger garlic paste-1tsp
Chopped onions- 1(big)
Chopped tomatoes-2(medium)
paneer(indian cottage cheese)- 100gms (cubed)
chili powder-1tsp
Garam masala-1/2tsp
Fresh cream-1/4cup
Salt-to taste
Sugar- 1/4 tsp(opttional)
Method:
- Wash palak leaves(spinach) & remove stems
- Heat oil in the pan & add cumin seeds, chopped onions,tomatos, ginger-garlic paste & saute for 3 to 5mins..
- Add chilli powder & garam masala into it..
- Saute for sometime & add palak leaves & sprinkle some salt into it.. (add 1/4tsp of sugar)
- Transferred it to blender & grind into fine paste...
- Add 1tsp of oil & pour the above paste & boil for few mins..
- Nextly, add cubed paneer & add some water... gravy should be little thick in consistency..
- Finally add fresh cream & mix well... turn off the flame..
- Palak paneer is ready to serve....it goes well with roti/chapathi...
NOTE:
- Sugar is added to retain its green colourKeep the paneer cubes in hot water before starts preparing..
